We are currently trying to get pregnant (our second child, first was unplanned). It has been 4 weeks and two days since my last period. The time between my periods the last time was four weeks and two days and my periods are not "regular" they are usually a day or two off normally.

I have had a little bit of pink when I wiped "down there" but no period or blood.

I was thinking about waiting until I am "offically" a week late before testing. I hate this waiting game. I have had all my "period" symptoms along with a little nausea (last weekend, we were on vacation though, that may have messed my system up, we were eatting out more then normal) and dizzyness (room just starts spinning for a few seconds and then stops). What do you think?

I am taking prenatal vitamins to by the way.

I didn't take the nausea as a sign (even though I had BAD morning sickness while I was pregnant with my daughter) because it was while we were on vacation (and eating a LOT of fast food and it was a week before I was due to start my period), since we got home it has been better (but does seem to "surface" every now and then).

I think if I can make it a week, I will.

Lets see how patient I can be. :-)

You should test now and it will most likely show up. A lot of tests can be used 5 days before your period is due(depending on the brand). If you get a negative and still feel pregnant, I would make a blood test appointment. Good Luck and lots of baby dust to you!

Early signs of pregnancy:

Spotting
Nausea/vomiting
Headache
Food cravings
Heightened sense of smell
Missed period
Backache
Crampy
Extreme fatigue
Tender/swollen breasts
Frequent trips to the bathroom

These signs can appear as soon as implantation or anytime after, each woman is different! Some women have all of these, some have a few and some women don't have any signs.
Good Luck!

I also hate the waiting game. Waiting a week is a good idea, but as soon as I got a little bit of nausea one morning I decided that I was just going to take the pregnancy test (i'm a very impatient person). The next day I did, it was positive. Nausea is one of the BIGGEST signs of pregnancy. When your absolutely sure that your experiencing nausea, I say the next morning take the test. It is important to take it in the morning because your HCG levels are the highest then and thats what the pregnancy test detects. Sooo GOOD LUCK!!! let us know what happens!!!
