It's called an Id, not It
There are no certain locations for the Id, Ego, and Superego. They are in the subconscious. They are not brain structures.
Id: your natural, untamed, selfish instinct. The little devil on your shoulder.
Superego: societal expectations and morality. The little angel on your shoulder.
Ego: The referee between the Superego and Id. Your conscience.
The id and superego "reside" in your subconscious. The ego is like an iceburg. In that its "tip" is in our conscious, but the bulk of it is in our subconscious.
There are three levels on consciousness. Conscious, preconscious, subconcious.
Using memory as an example:
Conscious: memories that are you currently thinking of.
Preconscious: memories that are you are not currently thinking of, but can be easily retrived. Eg. You aren't thinking about when your birthday is, but you can easily recall it.
Subconscious: things and memories that in are inaccessible. Although some believe that are retrievable in dreams.

its the id, the ego, and the super ego...if you had to map it out just to understand it think of it this way...i am sure you have seen the cartoons where the guy has the angel on one side and the devil on the other...the angel is the super ego (so to speak)...tell you right from wrong without give...the ID is the devil....it is self seeking and primal and only focused on what it wants not on consequences...the ego is you in the middle...it helps to level out the other 2 and make a balanced decision...this is all metaphorically...you cant see them or map them they are part of your conscience

The Id is in the field that surrounds the entire body.
The Ego resides in the head area.
The Superego resides outside the body, and it connected thru the Id only.

It's "ID". And there are no mystical personalities such as Ego or ID in your subconscious, just piles of sensory experience and information. Your personality is at the forefront of your consciousness, but, accepting any of it as residing in the subconscious is open ground for schizophrenia.
