hi i quit smoking 114 days ago. however about 10 min ago my husband and i took one drag off a cigarette. I didnt even get a head rush i was coughing so bad. it was terrible!!! does that actually count as a "relapse". I already feel disapointed in myself, but at the same time re-assured because i know i will not be doing that again!

nah thats not a relapse, it was a reminder of why you quit, and a test of your commitment to quitting. One drag doesnt take away the 114 days, you keep on counting those days. Good for you!!

I wouldn't count it as a relapse as it was only one drag, and you were disgusted. Just do not do that again. If you were drinking when you did that. Don't drink anymore until you can safely know that you won't do that anymore.

I would not worry about if it is a relapse or not. I could be wrong, but think your focus should be on continuing not to smoke. It sounds like you don't want to & are to be commended for that. Whow! Congratulations!
