I was just watching re-runs of The crocodile hunter. Steve Irwin and his family and what they stood for....It is such a shame that Steve was taken away so soon. But when I think about it, it was
Gods plan...He allowed Steve to be here on earth to teach us about life in general of everything.....Steve had a way about the way he explained things and that is what God intended.....Steve taught us exactly about life and conservation and how to care for it in His image..How clever !!!!!Thanks God ! Oh, and Steve!

YES!! I miss him very much too. In fact I wrote a poem about him.

Dedicated to the Irwin Family and Friends.
Steve Irwin was a kind and loving man, He was a hero to animals and animal lovers all across the land.
All the World will mourn his loss, but his wife and kids has paid the ultimate cost.
I feel bad for Terri, but I feel bad for Bindi most of all because she was only eight years old, and she was her Daddy's wonderful little girl. Don't get me wrong I feel bad for little Robert too, but he's still young he's only two. And yes it will be hard on Terri as well, but she is grown and with Bob, Wes and the rest of the Zoo staff, She will not have to face it on her own.
Even though I had never met Steve, Just from watching his show, I could see he really did care not just for animals but for people everywhere. Whenever an animal or person was in need He would always be the first one on the scene. It wasn't just for the cameras, he was like that in real life, Anyone could tell that just from seeing the respect, compassion and the love he showed to all the animals, his friends, and especially his kids and wife.
To Terri, Bindi, little Robert, Bob, all of his friends, and all the people in the World who truly care, I hope You can find peace,Knowing he's in HEAVEN watching over you through the clouds high in the air.
He was an inspiration to millions of people around the World. But sometimes people's destiny can be cruel, but to sum it all up in four little words as Steve would say "BY CRIKEY CROCS RULE!!!"

REST IN PEACE AND WE'LL SEE YOU SOON STEVE.

Your #1 fan.

Yes I miss him deeply. I live in Florida in the U.S. I have cried every day since I learned of his death just hours after it happened. We watched the tribute last night 9/19/06. My husband doesn't understand why I have this pain, and I can not explain it either. It just feels like I have lost my best friend.
I pray to God and thank him for letting us have him on this earth for any amount of time as short as it was.
My children and I will always remember him and what he did for wild life conservation.
We love and miss you Steve.

I cant believe how much I miss him, I just watched his memorial and it summed his life up just the way he would have wanted, although it was only an hour long I am sure he would have been watching over it saying Crikey check that out, then lost interest after 10 minutes. The world lost a hero but heaven gained a legend, thanks for all the memories steve. RIP.
