I'm afraid if I wash them they won't take the tarnish off of my jewerly.

Silver clothes have added chemicals to them to help remove tarnish from silver. Washing them will just give you a rag, with no benefits.

You should replace the clothes as the polishing service becomes black. The black in the gloves can actually put light scratches in the silver.

Hand wash them and hang to dry.

If they don't work anymore... time to get some new ones! Obviously dirty ones won't work very well either! :)

if they are treated best to call a jewelry store and ask if not treated you can wash them with a mild soap rinse and dry-they will work like new.

i think that you are right. if they are dirty you are going to have to get a new one. if you go to the jewelry counter at some store they might give them to you for free. i know when i went to Carson's they gave me mine for free

no, it will take the cleaner out of them, go to walmart and buy more, they are cheap, and you can find them at the jewelry counter
