Secular is music which is not religious and Sacred music is religious.

What you listern to everyday on MTV is Secular music and what you hear when you pass by the church on Sabbath morning is Sacred music!

Sacred music refers to music composed for and used in church services. Secular music is music not intended for church use. That's pure and simple answer.

secular music is that which is outside religion, an exampkle of sacred music would be "Amazing Grace" or a hymn, it is sacred because it is related to religion

Secular is usually music that is not Godly music, and secular also uses profanity a lot (BUT, I am not saying that all secular uses profanity, but a majority that I've heard does).

Sacred...the word means set apart...is set to turn our hearts to the glory of God.
Secular...means not sacred. It is used to inspire, to entertain, and occasion, to extort money.
