Area 51 was believed to be closed down officially in 1997. But the Discovery channel proclaimed that it did not. In fact, it has been growing larger, as unmanned aerial vehicles have been designed too. But isn't the area 51 technology so good, that their human planes are believed to be aliens? OFFICIAL A, says yes, over the past 20 years, the private human technology grew secretely 10X the speed of the standard public tech (SPT), what we use every day. OFFCIAL B, says no, private technology may be only 2x more advanced than SPT, and therefore, area 51, the secret flatLandForm, is indeed a good place for alien hideout. SO, IS THE FACT THAT AREA 51 STILL EXISTS A FACT OR FICTION?

Fact! It's there. Project Blue Book was also the definitive last word on UFOs and any involvement by the US Air Farce. It has been reported that some experiments have recently been moved to the Green River Missile Launch complex in Utah. The original area 51, the nonexistent military complex, has, oddly enough, been expanded as a result of this closure. Huh? Oh yeah - gov't!
The most disturbing rumor I've heard, but I can not validate, is that the GRMLC had an over-fly restriction NOTAM in place but this has been updated and expanded - also very recently.
It is noteworthy to remember some of the stuff we hear is just hype but other things may not be! Our task is to determine which is which. Luck, however, has nothing to do with it!

area 51 is very much fact and still active used to test secret weapons and jets. it was recently spread out where you can't go within 25 miles of the area now.

Yeah. Just went there about 2 months ago (actually to Rachel, Nevada). Drove down the extra-terrestrial highway and there were plenty of unmarked, identical white cargo vans convoying up and down, back and forth. There's plenty of activity there, but what it is is anyone's guess.

It's a military test site for unmanned aircraft. Nothing to do with aliens.
