why waste your time on someone like this. If she was mental i could understand but this is self inflicted. FORGET HER AND TRY RACING CARS OR SOMETHING MORE EXCITING.

It is good that you are concerned enough about her to want to help her - but you can't cure her yourself. She needs to want to get help for herself first before she can begin any sort of recovery.

Talk to her mom, maybe you can have her put in a rehab - not a 1 or 2 week rehab, but a long term rehab, so she can get completely clean. Once she knows what that feels like, maybe she can decide that she doesn' want to "go back there". Maybe it won't work, but it is certainly worth a shot.

I don't blame your girlfriend for being upset up your talking to this girl. It is a pretty uncomfortable/unsettling position for her to be in.

Dont give up on this Girl. It sounds that You and her Mom is all she has. Pray PRAY AND more prayer will get her through. Our God is a healer, a Savior . the Great Physician!!!!!! Satan may think that he has her but remember this scripture when u feel like giving up Phillipians 4:13 I can do ALL things through Christ which Strengthens me. I have a brother on crack and its so hard .I'll be praying for u. And the Mom Too! GOD BLESS YALL in Christ< Lisa

Honey you might have to resort to tough love. you can check and see if your town or city has a drug intervention program, that she can get into. The thing is , she will have to want help before you can help her.You might Pray to the Lord for help in getting her to receive the help she needs. You might have to give her an alternation, either she gets help or you are through with her. I think it is wonderful that you care for her that much.God Be with you and her. Hope you find the answer you are looking for. God bless.Sometime you have to hit bottom to get to the top. It is in the valleys that you grow. God Bless.

You sound like a great friend. Sometimes you have to realize that there's nothing you can do. Your friend has to want to help herself. The best thing to do might be to cut ties with her. I know it sounds cold, but it could help her see that because of her abuse and other problems she's losing everything. You might be a crutch to her, do you see? Whatever your decision, good luck.

I agree with Floozie. There's nothing you can do. Go to Al-a-teen, or whatever it is, to help yourself. Unfortunately, she has to hit rock bottom herself before she can help herself. Maybe it's al-anon. I don't know. But I do know that there's nothing you can do or say that will help her. She is going to have to figure out that she needs help in the first place. You will need some help in order to get over her & live a healthy life.

Sadly, if she is not willing to help herself, there is nothing that you can do for her. Sometimes in situations like this, it's best to walk away. Maybe if she hits rock bottom and you are not there, she will seek the help that she needs.

You can't help someone who is not willing to reach out and take control of the life they have chosen. Don't turn your back on her, all you can do is be her friend until she hits rock bottom and wants the help.

She needs to be commited to one of those intensive drug abuse institutions. I would try searching for one in your area that may be able to help those that aren't insured or can'a afford treatment..there may be some ran by the state. Good Luck

She has to help herself. You have to get her to see the state she is in. She is obviously not happy so you should try to get her to see that without drugs and with you she could claim the happiness she deserves.
