Nurses carry out the orders of the physician while focusing on the patient's physical, emotional, spiriual well being. They look for and treat potential problems with patients with nursing diagnoses and interventions.

This is so general it will be difficult.
In a hospital setting Nursing is the most often utilized service. The lower the nurse to patient ratio, the greater the patient satisfaction. But the hospital sets the ratio unfortunately.
In a home care setting the ratio vaties. Th rule of thumb is that a nuse shoud see more thah 5 patients a day and she should see each patient on her schedual. You need to be a lttle more specic.
