a little bit. i mean all shows just do a bunch of dumb stuff for shock value and ratings....nothing they've done is really original

It isn't overrated at all. It's absolutely hillarious, the actors are incredible, and there is a character on that show that anyone can relate to.
BTW, I'm not a soccer mom and I love it (I'm not even gay).

I'm a soccer mom. I've never seen it and have no desire to. I'd rather watch something that stimulates the brain.

In a way it is, but seeing Terri Hatcher and some of those other girls in their bras and panties every week does have a certain appeal.
