I'm tired of hearing it for several reasons. Mostly because it's offensive. Also because it's ignorant. It's also an argument based on very very faulty logic. If we followed its logic for other examples, there would be some great contradictions in the Bible. As someone who's daily work revolves around logic, it's enough to give me a headache.

I'm completely tired of the whole God created Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve argument because it implies a belief in a god. Not just any god, but the god of a few....

It's so constricting!

I'm not gay but I'm not a gay-basher either but It was funny the first time I heard that expression. (from Little Richard of all people) I quickly grew weary of it.
Most of these bashers tend to be narrow-minded fools who actually belive the wolrd would be a better place if we all conform to their "superior" social and moral standards.

Yes, I'm so tired of hearing that. They should at least try alternating it with Eve and Mary or something.

I am gay and it pisses me off too. It's not funny. It's low and stupid. It's a very old joke that should have been retired years ago.

This has been around since the 50's...I guess some idiot thinks he invented it, he is always using it here as some kind of "proof" of what God wants...someone else who has a direct phone line to God, I suppose. But, you will have to admit it identifies the creep as more than dated, doesn't it?

That is annoying. I saw some kid on here say just that the other day. I'm sure she thought she was being very original.

Well, mostly the people who tire of it are the ones
it steps on their toes. Doesn't bother me. We all
need to "lighten up".
