Dont let anybody get u down on a dream! This isnt a classroom you can type however you want! I know its a time to type well and time when it doesnt matter, you just want your question answered, right? Im sure you would be make less errors if this were some corporate deal, but its only Yahoo answers.
People like tigerlily should realllly not go around picking on other people with legitimate questions, it makes them look like trash desperately seeking attention!
So follow your dream! It sounds legal to me since all you're doing is collecting a finders fee! But you should ask a professional instead. It wont cost that much for prof. advice!

I don't think you have to have a license to be a tutor. There are volunteer tutors everywhere. Granted, they don't charge, so that may make a difference. If you found a tutor willing to "work" with or "for" you....you might get them to pay you for referrals, but I hardly doubt they will see you as their "boss". Lol!
I am laughing my *** off at the answer above mine. You don't have to have office space, accountants or health plans to own your own business. You simply have to have ways to communicate to your employees and customers, and something to sell or a service to offer. You can work out of your own home and you can hire contract workers. Contract workers do not have health insurance or other "regular" job perks. They don't even have taxes taken out of their pay. As long as you can perform all of the tasks that are required, you wouldn't have to have any office helpers at all.

From the looks of your grammar, I believe you need tutors in English! Furthermore and because of your lousy grammar, I don't feel that you have the intelligence to carry out this operation. The tutors you will hire by chance are smarter than you and you will end up working for them, not the other way around as you anticipate. These tutors can find work on their own, and they certainly don't need the likes of you pimply-faced charlatans to get them their big break.
Your best bet for you and your chums is to get yourselves to school, grow up, polish up your grammar, and don't bite off anything bigger than you can chew.

This idea makes you sound more like a pimp than a businessman. There's a whole lot of paperwork you've got to go through and you have to provide health care plans to your workers and it helps to have an office and you need accountants. Creating a business is very hard work.

You have to be over 18 to get a license for business. And, to start a business, you have to have an education and know how to take care of one to make it successful. And, where will you get tutors to work for you. Tutors don't have to work for anyone. They normally have their own following.

How are we to take your questions serious when you do not put in the effort of spelling and grammar?
That sounds like it might work, I would go to legal aid and ask them what kind of business licenses and insurance that you would have to have to be legit or call the better business bureau and ask them where would you start,
