I'm not bashing them or anything, but run run run isn't exciting! Why is Cowher so afraid of throwing the ball?

Most football games are boring - most of the time...regardless of who's playing...(just my opinion!)

Actually, I was at the home opener at Heinz Field (rooting for the Steelers) and I thought that the game was great. There were mistakes and big plays on both sides which made the game very suspenseful. It was a close game until the 4th quarter. Recently, though, (meaning last season) the Steelers have been boring because they have dominated. That's why, they were just too good in the post-season. Back on topic, Cowher wants to run because, 1) He doesn't want Roethlisberger hurt and 2) The run game has always been very effective.

Steelers games are boring most of the time. Nobody ever accused Cowher of being an exciting coach.

I think all games are boring at times, I don't think the Steeler games are any worse than others.

If you can run and they can't stop you, why pass? It isn't fear, it's smashmouth ball control. I prefer hard hitting defence disrupting all of those girly passing schemes as well. Nothing like seeing His Majesty Peyton Manning running away with fear in his eyes.

Depends on who his Quarterback is and what shape the Quarterback is in.
