Why do women remember every mistake we make and never let it go no matter how much we appoligize?

Because we have really long memories. Women tend to tack on a feeling to the memory of what you did wrong to them, so when that feeling comes back, here comes the memory with it.
The best thing to do is create good feelings and good memories. The thing that pisses us off is that you guys don't remember what you did!

It's not about saying sorry it's about being heartfelt. In other words you need to say why your sorry and what should have happened not just go I'm sorry. Maybe you need to ask her to forget all the past and start afresh in the relationship.
I got to a point in my marriage where all I could think about was all the insensitive things my husband said and did to me etc. So I had to let go of it and treat him nice or walk because I was becoming bitter and cold towards him. Once I let go of it not just for him but for me and my kids I got to be loving again and all of a sudden his attitude towards me changed...It's like he's so loved me all of a sudden...where I hadn't felt his love for ages... Try counseling it works.
Unless it's an affair than that would be huge to forgive and forget.

All women remember every mistake that men commit BUT not every woman will hold your mistakes against you once you've apologized. You just married the wrong woman.

We do? I must have other things on my mind. It's not conducive to a relationship to bury the hatchet and yet leave the handle sticking out.
Oh, and by the way, my ex-husband was excellent at that game... so it's not just women!

I agree with heartfelt and repeating mistakes! My husband would do it over and over again... and say Sorry. It was nice that he said sorry, but it was only to pacify me, not because he meant it. And I knew he would do it again, if he felt suddenly justified that he should curse or complain. My peeve is when my husband can do something and I can't for the SAME situation. Then I can't forget.. (but often do...) until he REMINDS me again, by doing it AGAIN!

Not all women do, some remember but forgive. Others need to learn how to have a good fight without dredging up old material. It's not fair.

no just the big ones..do we remember and make u pay for eternity.. its the gift of women usually having a better memory then men, and although we may of forgiven u, we definately havent forgotten and we are going to see to it that neither do u..

not all women are like this. my husband has made alot of mistakes and so have i, you live learn and let go.

well because we have good memories but not letting it go is usually more of a yonger woman thing as we grow older we calm down
