Just call the Morgue, that dealt with his body... And ask them for all records...You may have to show I.D.. and pay a small fee, for the information.. But, thats where I would start, and if that doesn't work, go to your local library, and try to find out by reading the newspapers from the date he died, read the obituaries... Good-Luck, and I'm sorry, for your loss.. Its got to be hard for you, and I couldn't imagine what it would be like to lose my parents.. One day I will find out, and both of my parents are getting sicker & sicker, so just the thought of losing them will make alot of family members very sad, for years & years to come... Pray and ask for God's guidance, as to where to start, finding out what you need to know.. He will help you to have "closure" the way you need it..

That is against the law and would likely not happen. Can you go to your county's (or the county in which your father is died) coroner's office to find anything out? You would be advised to start there first.
