I'm a film student, and for my midterm, I interviewed my best friend and her family on the death of her mother. I was able to get hundreds of pictures and dozens of home video clips from their life together. When it was finished, i sort of felt cold about it. Like maybe i wasn't as sensetive to the subject as i could have been. So i decided to add a few minutes at the end of the piece, for like a music video type thing. Like a way to say goodbye to her. I plan on showing it to the family, and i really want to honor their mother. If it helps, she was stabbed to death by her husband, and left behind four children. She was 37 at the time. I haven't really figured out if it's going to be upbeat or somber. I'm having the hardest time with this. Any suggestions and song choices would be greatly appreciated.
