so i have started working for my friend at a horse barn. i really liked it in the beginning and it gave me something to do over summer break. now i am getting home schooled and she still wants me to come and help her. i help her get the horses ready and some times i get to ride some. i have my own horse and lately by the end of the day i either don't have time to ride him or i am just wayyy too tired to think about riding him.
i don't enjoy riding these horses. i do on the other hand enjoy riding my own.
I just don't kow how to say all that to her in person. some time she takes what i say and takes it personally. im afraid she is going to hate me after that.

Please help me......

If you tell her the truth and she isn't able to put herself in your shoes, then she is selfish and taking advantage of you. Tell her the truth, and if she lashes out at you, they you really don't need her grief anymore.

You can be more tactfull by saying you're getting busy with school work, and you need more time to rest and focus on your study. If she doesn't understand, maybe that tell you something about what kind of friend she is, or she's maybe not a good friend at all.

give her your official two weeks notice and tell her that you just don't have enough time in the day to get everything you need done. that way if she needs someone she has the time to hire and train a new helper. And then you leave on good terms, remember procrastination will get ya everytime, just do it you'll be happier in the end.

just tell her you don't have the time now that you are doing school - or your school work is getting bad so your mom said you have to quit

Your focus on HER hating you is misplaced! If you don't take care of yourself and do what is best for you then you will end up hating yourself. Don't delay or cower. Take back your power. It's your life!!!!!!

Tell her how you feel about her. If you do not tell her, she would not know. Then she will think that you do not want to talk.

Talk to her directly.
