I doubt it. One thing for sure is it causes constipation. So drink plenty of fluids. Only take as directed it can cause dependency.

I don't think so; why would you think so? I know that I was able to take vicodin after childbirth and while nursing the baby, so it must not have much of a hormonal effect.
