for x-intercept solve for x and punch in 0 for y, for y intercept vise versa, the two equations you get should look like y=mx+b and x=my+b, for this one you'd get y= -2/5x=2 and x= -5/2y+5
means yer y intercept is (0,2) and yer x intercept is (5,0)

For the X intercept, plug in 0 for Y and for the Y intercept plug in 0 for X. So your X intercept is 5 and the Y intercept is 2.

Subtract 2x from both sides
then you should have 5y=10-2x
Divide 10-2x by 5
Remember your goal is y=mx+b
y= -2/5x+2
y intercept=-2/5
x intercept=2

like the first answer said: 2x=10, x/2=10/2, so x=5
5y=10, y/5=10/5, so y=2
