first of all, how long have you been taking the anti depressant. If not longer than four weeks then the side effects could still go away. Also the primary side effect of anti anxiety pills (benzodiazepines) is drowsiness. In any case let me recommend some exercise and reengagement for your anxiety.

different ones and combinations simply work differently for each person. Being tired is a sign of depression itself, so maybe the ones you are taking now just arean't working well enough. I did fairly well on Celexa, but Zoloft gave me the shakes and the sweats. Anti anxiety drugs all tend to make people tired I think. Try just the antidepressant alone if your doc agrees.

alprozolam is the generic of Xanax. If your doctor lowered the dose of that you would probably feel a lot less tired. Why change the anti depressant if it is working?

The specifics are hard to discover. It might take a couple tries to find the thing that's right for you (which might be one drug that just works, or a combination of a couple). Different things work better for different people; your doctor's probably going down the line of the things most likely to work out for you. Give him time.

We are not authorized to recommend anything to you in this area. These medical percription drugs are alone to be changed by Medical authority.

I would suggest you either talk to your doctor and explain to him/her why you' are always feel tired and tell them to listen to you. If they don't listen to you change the doc. That is your bill of rights to change doctors. Good luck. I urge other readers not to recomment anything cause they can get in trouble , if they recomment something, that you take and than you get ill from it... Seek professional help!!

Prozac will give you more energy. Paxil doesnt really make you sleepy, but gives you something like a purring kitten feeling, contentness I guess.
