I see it in all the major supermarkets, and that does suck because the fat people are the ones that should be getting the exercise.

Yep I have noticed this and I'm 60 years old! I would prefer to walk as long as I can even tho I have a bad knee that gives out on me without notice, I try to remain active, as I know there will come a time when I may not be able to walk. I look at some of the people in the motorized buggies and feel sorry for the buggies. However some people become handicapped at a early age where they can't be as active as they once were, I have a friend that this happened to with MS and when it gets to the point you can't walk and some of the medications that you have to take make you gain weight you can't control it, however allot of these people are just grossly obese and lazy.

Yes I have seen it. Those carts are designed for anyone with problems walking. Its not that over-weight people are the only ones using them its a case that the stores can't maintain the amount of carts for all people with walking disabilities.

i suppose that their legs hurt after walking all over that store...it is really too large to be a store....they should convert it to apartments and house the homeless
the seniors.....they have some pride.....they may shop at a place that pays crap for wages & only supports vetrans if they get a profit & buys all of their goods from China, but, they'll walk until they aren't able to at all!

Because women are smarter than allowing themselves to be hurt just to shop at Walmart.

get a life and stop insulting the obese......you dont have their life, though it would be oddly pleasing for you to get a taste of your own medicine. some obese people have a disorder in their bodies, dont judge so quickly.

Now that you mention it, yes I have seen it. It bugs me. Like someone else said, it may be a matter of pride.
