I keep condemned by straight people all the time for being gay.

I'm young, and there are gay people who actually condemn me for not like effeminate/queen type of guys.

AND the fact that I don't really fit in with the bear community because I'm so young.

It's so frustrating. How the hell do I deal with this?!

You don't get around much, do you? There is a world of Gay men out there who run the gamut as far as types, ages, etc. Whatever you are looking for is there, you are looking in all the wrong places. People are not going to bang your door down, you are the one who has to get going.

Just surround yourself with people who accept you for who you are, it may only turn out to be one, two or three people, but you know what they say, if you find one true friend in life you are doing better than most. Put everyone else on *iggie* and just focus on what you want in life. You have to get rid of the negative aspects in your life or you will just never be happy. Good luck hon.

its not really that much different for straights either. If you arent perfectly slim or young or whatever, you just dont fit in with the "popular" crowd.

Dont concern yourself with it. Find some friends, straight or gay, and enjoy your company with them.

You'll fit in. Wait to you get to college and beyond.

Nothing wrong with being a masculine gay man. Anyone who demands you change your public behavior is an a_s_s.

Just be strong and be yourself, chances are if you just be yourself, you will be loved by others. Age doesnt matter when you have general things in common with someone, and a somewhat big age gap is interesting and makes a relationship more exciting, and balanced.

get out and enjoy life with what ever life you are living and do as you feel like doing if your gay then be gay and if your not then your on your own, but just you have to look over some people because they will condem you which ever you are. so just go with your feelings and have fun.

find a friend you can talk to. either someone who is going through the same thing or someone who will just be a friend.
ignore all the others, they are too stupid to listen to, and will just annoy you. there are so many other people out there you don't need to waste your time on the bad ones.
good luck, and i hope you work it out.

I think we all have to just be ourselves, Adam. The only person you can completely satisfy in that regard is you. If we tried to please everyone, we would go insane. Hopefully, at the very least, you can gain solace in the fact that the rest of us often find ourselves in the same boat that you do.

Always remember, one of your best friends is yourself.

You don't have to fit into anyone's mold....Just be yourself. I'm not effeminate or really into effemionate guys and I don't really care...I just like being me....Maybe you just need to like yourself a little more...
