I'll give Rich Rod a 3. Over two seasons he has gone 8-16 (.333) but you have to take into account the fact that he completely changed Michigan's offensive system. However, the defense has been disappointing. We've also lost to those Buckeyes twice now. On the bright side, he's finally got some players that fit the spread offense and last season about 70% of the team were freshmen/sophomores. All us Michigan fans can look to our bright future for comfort. Soon Michigan will show everyone why they have the most wins in FBS history.

First off you got to remember that kids like to play the game. Winning or loosing is short lived for them if there coach still keeps his spark and drive.
For you, stay enthusiastic and go back to the basics of the game that what they are learning at a young age anyway.
Biggest thing for the little ones is just have fun playing first and last.

They're 3-0 and they're losing? That's 3 wins to zero losses. If it's the other way around, I'd advise the 'coach' to learn how to display statistics.

omg. thats your varsity!?!?!?thats really sad......but as far as motivation......tell them that for every point they lose by they'll be doing 10 suicides.(6 point loss=60 suicides)my coach does this to us and we havent lost a game since.trust me this should work and if it doesnt then i can give you my coaches number and you can call him and ask cuz he keeps us motivated and on a winning streak.so yeah.oh,btw, how long are your practices?cuz we practice from 3pm-8 or 8:30 pm.and all we do is run our fricken asses off.but it must help.
