This actually happened to me. Yeah, the first reaction is to look up. I don't know if it was to see where he came from, or to see if someone threw him off, but that is the first thing we did.
Edited to add: Wow, all of these flip and funny answers. I guarantee you wouldn't answer the same way if you actually saw this happen. You wouldn't be able to forget seeing the right foot snap off and fly across the street, and you wouldn't ever forget the sound of the head when it hit the ground. I saw this guy's suicide almost 20 years ago and can still remember it like it was yesterday. Pretty funny, huh?

i'd look up to check if the coast was clear, then see if the victim was ok. maybe do a little first aid, call an ambulance. then freak out that a person just dropped out of the sky right in front of me.

After the initial reflex to duck, I would look up to see if anything or anyone came down also. then I would scream and run.

I would pretend I didn't see them. Then I would trip over them. Then I would sue them for tripping me. Then I would buy a huge house, and I would build a monument of myself in front of the house showing me saving that guys life that tripped me... and everyone will love me.

The first thing I'd do is ask if they were okay. Depending on the answer, I might call an ambulance.

no i would just smile and say ,hi i'm cait =) maybe invite them for tea.
but if they were comitting suicide, i would try to break thier fall...even if it means I die. But if I had no idea they were coming, I would be like...oh my god ...then cry and scream and call the police. that would be sad
