Peel off as much of the tape the tape as you can and squirt some "Goo Gone" ( this is a product that is basically orange oil). It will disolve the tape glue.
You don't need a lot but is can be a slow process. Once the tape glue is gone, you can use Windex or vinegar and water to clean the window.

Score the tape with a wallpaper tool. Then, slightly peel away a corner and use lighter fluid to remove the rest slowly peeling it away a bit at a time. I suggest you put on some really good music that you like while you do this and try to have fun, keeping in mind that you DO have windows to peel the tape off of.... The hurricane obviously left your windows intact.

Yes. GOO GONE works best. You can get it at Lowe's or Home Depot, Wal-Mart for under $3.00 a bottle. Just put it on the glass (it does come in a spray bottle too!) Let sit for a minute, then using a razor blade scraper and it will come right off. I use GOO GONE for a lot of items. Like removing price stickers, heel marks on the linoleum...it will also remove crayon marks and tar from your car!

Acetone, the main significant element in nail polish remover, is particularly reliable at removing dried latex paint. you ought to to get a small can at any paint grant keep. do no longer attempt to scrape it, you will mar the aluminum. merely soak some right into a paper towel and rub the paint you decide on bumped off. The acetone will soften it after which you would be able to wipe it away.

WD-40 is the best. It is also easiest to use. When finished use dish detergent to get the oil off. Wipe it dry with newspaper
