For a bookstore, I would think the outfit would be just fine. Good luck to you!

Do you have any khakis? That would probably be the better option. A lot of employers make a judgement on you before you even begin talking. The way you present yourself is everything, even if you are still in high school. If you don't have any docker type pants, make sure your shirt is tucked in and you are pressed and clean looking. Don't use slang and you should be ok. Good Luck!

No. Your age doesn't have anything to do with what is appropriate for an interview. If you're looking for a job, investing in at least one professional outfit is likely to produce an excellent return.
Regardless of the working dress code of a company, you need to surpass that for an interview. Simply foregoing the jeans to a nice pair of khakis would be a SIGNIFICANT improvement. Jeans of any color or style is a no-go for this type of interview. It will cost you (or your parents) barely $30 at Kohl's. Don't you think it's worth it? Think about what other candidates might wear. You're in a competition where first impressions are vital..

I don't know dude... but frankly the color combo is a little too much for me=)
I'd go with a classic white or baby blue shirt to go with dark jeans. Top it all off with a nice pair of dark shoes/ loafers, etc.
Keep appearance clean, neat & groomed, also not forgetting loads of confidence and you're all set!
Best of Luck

If it's retail (unless it's a highly fashion conscious store) I'd say yeah that's fine to wear. I've worked in retail and I saw lots of teens (actually and many older people as well) come in for interviews looking a lot less impressive than what you described and get jobs.

Depends on the job. If it were at a casual place like Lowe's or Home Depot, I would say go for it. If it were more white collar oriented, I might look into some nice clothes.

NO. Please try to buy some pants that are NOT jeans. Just khaki Dockers type. If the dark green shirt is all you have, please make sure it is ironed. Nobody expects you to have a full wardrobe as a young man, but if jeans are not appropriate for the job, they are not appropriate for the interview. But we don't know what you are applying for - hamburger flipper, janitor? THen I guess your jeans are OK.

Iron the shirt, tuck-in the shirt, comb your hair, don't use too much gel, wear NICE shoes (no sneakers), wear a black belt, button the shirt and cuffs, stand up straight, look your interviewer in the eye, and shake hands. So yeah.

No. You need to be a professional. Professional clothing is the key when getting a job. Now-a day's lot's of employer's look what the person is wearing, and I bet my button dollar Jeans do not make a great impact!!!!!

Please don't wear jeans. Khakis, a white button down and a tie would be perfect for almost any interview if you're a teen; and buying these things shouldn't be a waste. You'll use them again.
