How old are you? But anyway if your an adult you might want to check out your local ASPCA im sure they could use a couple more people helping them there may be sad times where you just cant save an animal. But I would love that job. To rescue sick and ingerd animals. but I probaly coudnt take it to just see the way some people treat animals! there so crule some people. Well Good Luck

One hint, make sure your wealthly. I know someone who rescues animals, mainly cats and dogs, and she spends a lot of money helping these animals. Shots, spays and neuters, and any health issues they may have. And she doesn't get any money in return when she adopts them out. Even if she did, it wouldn't be the cost of the animal.
You want to help animals, ask to volunteer at a shelter first. Donate some time and items for the shelter to use. Then think about becoming a rescuer.

I would suggest contacting your local animal shelter or Humane Society. What kind of animals are you interested in? Some rescues specialize in one breed of animal. Whatever kind or breed of animal, people are always needed to help.

Go to ASPCA.com and they have informatin on their site. Also contact you local animal control they always are looking for help and foster homes.
