i got the update and all my songs went away and now ipod wont read my computer i click on drive F and it says it wont work and i cant do anything with it?? what do i do??????

Reset your Ipod and try again. Here is how:

I am assuming you have the new version of itunes. First I unplug the usb cable and ipod. Turn off the ipod. Restart computer. Start itunes, plug in cable only, then ipod to cable. See if it recognizes it. If not, manually download ipod software updater and reformat your ipod. If that fails, take it to a friends house with itunes and see if it works there. Everything fails, buy the apple protection plana nd have them service it. Good luck!

Do a search for your songs or iTunes -- the drive may have been changed when you updated. I am sure they are there somewhere.
