Better to replace than attempt any kind of repair. Depending on the car it should be a quick and cheap fix.

Nope cant clean it its a sealed unit. If its sticking you can clean the out side but good luck on it working.

you cant clean them,you got to buy a new one,i had to buy 1 for my car.
