A woman answers the door to a market researcher. "Good morning madam, I'm doing some research for Vaseline. Do you use it at all in your household?"
"Oh yes, all the time. It's very good for cuts, grazes and burns."
"Do you use it for anything else?"
"Like what?"
"Ahem.. err.. well.. during.. ahem.. sex."
"Oh, of course. Yes, I smear it on the bedroom doorknob to keep my husband out!"

It softens dry skin
It can be put into cuts to stop bleeding
Good for chapped lips (though personally I'd rather deal with chapped lips than have that stuff om my face)
It can be used to lubricate fuse clips (the things that hold the two 50 amp fuses..don't know if that is the right word) in old fuse type electrical systems
Use to lubricate bases of light bulbs so they don't stick (my friend used to be an electrician)
makeup remover
spread some on a door knob to p*ss someone off
It was used to prevent diaper rash on babies in the old days...there are better products for that now, but it is a use
coat cotton balls with it and light with a match. Use for starting fires outdoors in survival situations (causes cotton to burn for minutes rather than seconds)
Rub it on the ends of fishing poles that can be seperated. This keeps the poles from sticking, especially in salt water environments
Sexual lubricant...not sure why, but people use it.
In a real bind, it can be used to waterproof metal.
Can't think of much more

I use it on my lips every nite before bed and every day after I shower. It's a great primer for lipstick. It's also great under your eyes if you have very dry skin. It was a lifesaver for me when I lived in NYC and got bad dry skin under my eyes every winter. I also put it on the tops of my hands where I would get cracked skin in cold weather. Then put a layer of Vaseline Intensive Care lotion on top. Very soft results.

I use it mainly for my lips, it works great to keep them hydrated. I also have used it for other purposes that I do not think appropriate to post here lol, but I wouldn't want to apply it to my face, unless I'd just had some kind of facial skin procedure, where you need to protect the skin whilst it is healing. HTH.

Vaseline is primarily for moisturizing. Lips and body. You can use it to slick down your hair. Can be used for diaper rash. Beauty pageant contestants put it on their teeth to stop lips from sticking to teeth when they are dry. This ensures that they smile.
Try shining you shoes with it? ;)

I don't think it's a good idea to put in on your face.....the properties in it can clog your pores.
It's good for taking off your eye make-up....if you have really dry hands & feet put some on at bedtime with socks.....if you color your hair yourself you can put it around your hairline to prevent the color from staining your skin.
I use just a touch on my eyebrows to hold them in place.

It's good for chapped lips, severely dry skin, and moisturizing feet.
Also, beauty pageant contestants rub it on their gums/teeth to remind themselves to smile.
