herpes (hur-peez)
A group of related diseases and the viruses that cause them. These diseases are marked by the development of blisterlike sores on the skin or mucous membranes of the body. The herpes virus may invade the mouth region, producing fever blisters or cold sores, or may cause a sexually transmitted disease in which the painful sores appear on the genitals. Chicken pox is another disease caused by a herpes virus.
# After an infection, the virus remains dormant and may return at a later time. Shingles, for example, is a recurrence of the chicken pox virus, and outbreaks of genital herpes recur over time.

Second Genital Herpes question I have answered. It could be swollen, red, burning, itching, chaffing, flaking. The actual bumps could be anywhere on the tip or all around the skin of your penis. Free clinic check ups are available if you have any reason to think you might have it, GET CHECKED OUT!

Where ever the skin on your penis was exposed. Let's say you had on a condom, then to only area of skin that was exposed is on the base of your penis. That is where the sores would show up.

Anywhere. On the penis, balls or on the side. Anywhere the virus rubbed on or touched. See a doctor it might be something else too.
