Well, most of the times germs are spread by coughing/sneezing on each other or someone not covering their mouth when they sneeze or cough. Also, lack of washing hands.Everytime you go to the restroom, before you eat, anytime your hands are going to be near your face, etc you need to wash your hands.Tissues, dispose of them properly and make sure you wash right afterwards.I would suggest you carry some Germ-x with you.It is a antibacterial hand wash that you do not need water to use. Before you eat,or your hands come in contact with your face anyway the germs can get into your body wash your hands with it.Wash them frequently, and try to avoid close contact with anyone sick.Do not drink after them, which im sure you knew or anything along those lines.Keep your hands germ free and you should have a pretty good prevention plan.Good luck and i hope this works for you.Feel better soon.

I'm glad you wash your hands that's a good first step.
You really want to stop this? Here it goes pick any or all (I understand possibility of dorkiness factor)
1. Get clorox wipes. Wipe down your desk when you get to your class (think of the student in the hour before you drooling on it)
2. use a paper towel to open the door to bathroom after washing your hands.
3. spray your locker with lysol or oust.
4. take vitamin c (2/day is good)
5. stay in good health. Not just being well. Exercise and eat right too.
6. don't start smoking!!!!!!

Carry hand sanitizer and use it after you touch any door knobs or if you have to borrow a book or pen from another classmate. Wash your hands after going into the restroom, even if you are just going in to wash your hands, there are germs on the doors. You can take vitamin C and zinc and that might help build your immunities but nothing can keep you 100% healthy all the time.

Wash your hands more often especially after sneezing coughing, going to the restroom. Carry some of the anti-bacterial hand wash with you. Also, drink more orange juice. Schools and any public places are breeding grounds for those kind of germs, no way to get around it really.

Wash your hands constantly! Although I am against using antibacterial instant hand sanitizers on a regular basis, I would recommend carrying one around school with you so that you can wash your hands between classes. We did this as a group in my theatre department in high school and we managed to have no one get sick for 2 months!

When my kids were going to school it seemed like there was a lot of minor illnesses making the rounds. We then installed a automatic dishwasher with a heating element to dry the dishes. After that our kids were free of colds and even had some perfect attendance records. One way to beat illness is to eat good wholesome food that gives you body a balanced diet. Pizza and soft drinks handicap your body, while orange juice and high protein foods armor it against pathogens.

Always have with you a small bottle of Anti Bacterial hand sanitizer like Germ-X. Never put your hands in your mouth, or drink from others. That's a huge help in keeping germs out of your body. It's not 100% but it will help a lot.
