You didn't say what time the wedding is called for or where the ceremony will be, but that should probably be your guide of what to wear.

If it is a daytime wedding, I'd say wear a light-colored dress or suit (no bare legs). If the wedding is at night, I'd vote for a long dress (probably a darker color) or a dressy pantsuit.

If the ceremony is in a church or synagogue, your shoulders should probably be covered.

A man should probably wear a suit regardless.

i want greater of a backyard variety wedding ceremony... like at a very advantageous southern plantation, have the marriage cerimony interior the interior mid-day, with the reception outdoors interior the evening while it cools down. i want chinese language (or is it eastern?) lantern-esque lights with yellow roses and accents of orange with the main familiar shade being white. in user-friendly terms some human beings from the two facet of the relatives (like 15-25 each). and the meals would be set up like an stylish buffet. thats all i've got been given to this point, yet i think of it will be the appropriate wedding ceremony for me (if my destiny husband likes it too).

Depends what type of wedding it is. For some weddings, it's fine to wear business casual clothes or a normal dress. For others, it is formal. Ask the bride (or someone you know that was invited to the wedding) whether the wedding is a formal or informal wedding.

It's a wedding, and they are the one time you can wear clothing that is too classy for any other occasion. As long as you don't look better than the Bride, I say dress to the 9's.

Maybe a nice jacket with a shirt underneath with either black or khaki pants or a casual dress.

Maybe a little sun dress in light colors such as light pink or light purple or just a little white dress.I hope this will help you.

do not buy anything special! go through your closet and find something dressy and comfortable. and something you can use with a wrap or scarf if it happens to get chilly. plus everyones eyes are on the bride not you .

you can't go wrong with a black dress it makes it alot easier picking out shoes and jewelry. if you are not the dress type, maybe a black suit with a colored shirt underneath to break it up.
