Ridin' is about him getting constantly followed by the cops because of the songs he wirtes and that makes them think that rapper = on drugs. What is really trying to make a point about is that just because of his songs the cops are trying to get after him. Which is technically against the law. You could be the prime suspect in a murder and if you wrote a song about where you buried the body and how you killed her, the cops could say nothing about that. It is called creative expression. Anyway i think that is the point he trying to get across. Great song BTW

it's about cops thinking that just cuz he's a black rapper that talks about drugs and stuff like that, they think he's "ridin dirty" and try and get him on stupid charges.
