are they not safe for my kids to play with. my neighbor's got them. and what kind of INDOOR habitat do they need ??

I wouldn't recommend keeping them indoors.

If you want them to live and be healthy, you'll need a heat lamp, a UVB lamp, vitamins and mineral supplements, you'll have to catch a variety of bugs for it every day, and mist it's tank regularly. Besides that, holding them too much is bad for them.

I recommend just watching them outside and not trying to take them from their natural habitat.

Frogs carry many diseases one of them being salmonella. If the kids play with them they could get sick. It is better for the kids to let them be outdoor curiosities. They don't make good pets.
