The place I have in ND is a hunting shack that only gets used two weeks a year, I don't know if I should look under state documents for pricing or go through the city, I can't seem to find anything on the city within the internet, Lats year someone in town out there told me I have to pay for the whole year even if it only gets used two weeks out of the year, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Call the City of Rock Lake, If there is no longer one I would try the county court house. I think that is in Rolla.

You definitely need to go to city utility authority and ask. You may also want to ask whether there is the possibility of suspending service during the periods you are not there. Most public utilities have a minimum monthly charge for services, regardless of the usage. Explaining that you only use the property two weeks of the year and you would appreciate the clerk's expertise in advising you what might be possible, would be the way to go. People just love to feel needed and a tad superior. Good Luck.

You'd have to go to the municipal building and find out how the city (or county) levies charges for public services such as water and sewer. You could also ask your next door neighbors what they pay.

ask the utility company how much they charge per kilowatt hour. If they tell you, then take the hours x kwh and that will give you the amount you should pay. If it is over, then they are estimating and you must TELL THEM to STOP THAT!!
