I am an artistic person, but not in an artistic field. Trouble is, I really can't create anything. I majored in art in college, but can't really cut the mustard in the art world. I realized that myself when I saw what other fellow students were doing. I became a secretary, and have been for many years. I find that I can be artistic in my work in the programs such as Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, even Excel. I take pride in making my documents look as good as possible. I bring some style to my work that others may lack, and my work looks great.

I study Neuroscience and Urology.

Artistic Hobbies: I am very into the fashion industry, and I dance all the time, ballet, salsa, jazz, ballroom, and I play many instruments like the flute, piano, oboe, and drums. I have been a part of musical theatre my whole life. I like to go to art festivals...do Renaissance fairs count? :)

But I do not do any of those hobbies professionally.

Yes. I have worked many non-artistic jobs, including cocktail waitress and military linguist. Most of my jobs have been in restaurants or retail sales. I still do photography as a hobby. I used to draw, paint, all sorts of stuff! Now I just waste my time here and keep up a house.

Yes, I teach general ed. classes for college freshmen, and I take art classes whenever I can (not as often as I'd like). I really enjoy drawing, painting, and want to take scultpure courses as well; however, I will never make a career out of it: my best talents lie elsewhere :-)

I also attend theatre events, galleries, etc.
