He put up good numbers today, granted against a bad defense, but I was impressed by his decision making. When the pass isn't there he doesn't force it. Can't wait for the game against Baltimore, a real test for both teams. (Of course the Chargers will win because they have a much better offense. Go Bolts!)

Yes, he IS coming along nicely.

So far he has taken what he's been given. He hasn't been pressured much so he has not had to force anything.

Also, it doesn't hurt that he has LT, and Antonio Gates.

I hope that he keeps his composure against the Ravens. Right now, all he needs to do is learn. It's not his job to win the game yet. Tomlinson is in charge of that task.

If he keeps playing the way he's playing, eventually a lot of good things will open up for him.

Yes, he is doing just fine. Of course the competition has been against two of the worst teams in the AFC. Baltimore on the road will be a very stern test for the Chargers and Rivers. Then the following week the Steelers vistit SD. I don't think it is realistic the Chargers can win both of those games, I'm hoping for at least one win out of those two very tough games. The Chargers defense is turning heads, especially Merriman.

It's starting to look like 2003 may have been the best QB draft since 84. Even our Losman is (slowly) improving

Uhh.. hes ok. I dont think he will do well against the Ravens. Their defense is AMAZING and a rookie will not do well against them. He will get blitzed alot and the pressure will be on. I do not think he will fare well against them.

I thought he would become a good NFL quarterback when he was playing for NC State.
