i'd really really love to learn how to do the dance to that song "meet me at the altar" by jagged edge. can anyone help??

Great song. It's actually called "Let's Get Married". I can't tell you on here how to do the dance. What I can do is give you a link so you can watch the video. Hopefully you can watch the video and practice the moves you like. Good luck! Just make sure your pop-up blocker is disabled for this page or it will give you an error. Is there any way you can provide a link to a sample of this music? I might be able to recognize what dance style it is. Otherwise - sorry, I don't recognize this song by its lyrics.

(Later comment:) Thanks to Mariposa, I can tell you what else can be danced to it. Beautiful song, BTW. One possibility would be a romantic Two-step, if you're looking for couples dancing. Whatever people are dancing in the video is something completely different though, nothing to do with Two-step. Two-step is something generic that you can learn, it is taught in many clubs and studios.
