I recently got married and have not been able to have intercourse with my husband because of the pain. It has been three weeks now and we have used lubricant and tried many times, but I feel a burning sensation and pain as soon as he touches me. Is this normal? What can I do? Did it hurt as much for you (women only)? Please help! It's very important to me! THANKS! :-)

Even though you don't have a UTI- I'd still see your GYN, this is not normal. (S)he can will have advice and/or diagnose a problem. I do remember the first time it did hurt really bad-- but that was the only time it ever hurt.

Go see your doctor if it hurts to just be touched there. Other than that, the first time DOES hurt. There is a burning sensation the first time you do it, so don't worry about that part. That part is normal.

What I think your experiencing is pain and burning from being stretched. After a few times the pain and burning will no longer be there. And yes it did hurt and burn for me on my first time. He had to just leave it in with out moving for a few mins.

Call your Gyn first thing in the morning. There is a medical term for what you're experiencing, but I cannot remember what it's called. I think some of it too is fear - you tense up and stress up and he cannot get in. Your GYN can help, but one thing is to a) communicate your fears to your husband, and b) increase your foreplay quite a bit. It will help relax you. I'm sorry you're experiencing this, but it can be overcome.

you should see a doctor this could be very serious because it shouldn't hurt just for someone to touch you.Just imagine if you got in a fight.
