Our sons name is Andon and I have been looking for information about his name online for quite some time to no avail. I have checked baby naming websites and have googled it. Still nothing. The only thing that I have found is about it being one of three elements that make up the principle of Jidoka. 10 points to whoever can provide a link to a site that has origin and all that good stuff that we like to know. Andon - abbreviated form of Andonius which is the Greek for Anthony meaning praiseworthy or flourishing.
Can't find any other information.
