We met a 58 yrs old lady lasy year at the fair.We talked to her maybe 3 days.This year, she hugs my husband and kiss my husband....in the lips guysssss.I was mad.My husband said friends do that here in the States.I came from another country.In my country we don't do that.If we do, we can kiss our friends on the checks.not on the lips.Pls help me.Is it true that you can kiss your friend on the lips????Is he lying to me?Guess what, her mom said I don't have to worry about anything.Coz she's old.Even she's old, I think that's disrespect.They kiss infront of me.It didn't happen once, it happens 3 times.The second time, my husband tried to deny it.But i saw them.My husband said GET OVER IT.i just can't.That's disgusting.Does it mean he don't love me???pls help me.

In the states sometimes friends do kiss on the lips, quickly and once. He is being disrespectful to you by not understanding your concerns and honoring your wishes. The second time was over the top. The third time he needs a time out. I don't think that means he doesn't love you, but he isn't showing you any respect. Show him this response and sit him down for a real long talk. Good luck!

Yes friends do kiss. But on the lips is unusual in the States.
If you make a big deal out of it you may create a problem were none exits. Is it possible that your husband may not know how to deal with her & is a little embarrassed because he doesn’t know how to tactfully get rid of her.
The woman sounds desperate & lonely. But feel free to keep an eye on your husband – just don’t be obvious about it.

I can see why your upset. I would be upset to and especially if he was trying to make you feel like your being stupid about it. He should be doing something you don't like. I have friends from that I grew up with when I was a kid that live in the states. They don't kiss my dad on the lips (eeewwww). I would ask him how he would feel if you kiss a 58 year old man on the lips that had a millions in the bank.

I mean some friends do kiss like that but I hate to say this maybe you are overreacting. She's 58 years old. I doubt that your husband gets off to this.

I don't think that its normal at all that or proper for her to kiss your husband on the lips like that. No friends don't do that. I would be mad too! Tell the lady that you think what she has been doing is rude. That is the only way to stop her behavior.

I never kiss anyone on the lips except my husband & kids. Your husband is being disrespectful, especially since you told him you don't like it. He is lying to you. I would talk to the 58 yr old woman & tell her you don't like it. Or, start kissing her husband & see how they like it.
3 days is an awfully long time to talk to someone.

Y!A pals I easily haven't any personal pals at abode on the grounds that I were given married. This is more common than you think. Do not worry about it. I have been married for many years and lots of our female friends have kissed me on the lips, no open mouth but just a peck. Not to worry.

If you want to live in the US then get rid of your customs and accept that this is the way it is here in the US. That is the troubel with you foreigners, you try to make our country.your country....Back Off! He is right, get over it. If you give him problems with stuff like this then he may eventually ship you back where you came from!!
