The letters after the period are the 'extension'. If they are not correct i.e. not .mp3 then you will get an error message. Below are some free tools which should help you resolve the problem.

Also below is a list of all file extensions.

Have fun! Oh yeah, and you are gorgeous.

first off, if you are not aware
an extention something that deifines your file type after the coma in your file name. i.e song.mp3, song.wma, song.acc

1- so an explanation may be is that you are still uploading a file type not supported, or you cannot upload those type of files in the first place. does it say what type of files you are aloud or not aloud to upload?

2- i noticed that you mentioned you have a website. if you made yourself a free account, these type of accounts prevent you from uploading certain file types. i.e the your only aloud to host basic html websites with images only. check this if this is a possibility.

if i had nore info i can be more helpful, are you FTP up files? is this a myspace account? where are you trying to upload music?

anyways i hope that helps

Try using Musicmatch jukebox. There is a free version on the internet and I have never had problems with the conversion. Goo dluck.

Does the mp3 song that you converted also have mp3 in the filename: Such as "songname.mp3"? It should have ".mp3" after the filename.
