* Contain factual information
* Are organized by the Dewey Decimal System, based on content

Fiction:
* Stories which are made up
* Organized by genre and then by author's last name

Well fiction means that it isn't real, and non-fiction is supposed to be a true story...

non-fiction books are based on real persons or events like, biographies. e.g. of fictional books, "harry potter", "lord of the rings"
