well, i have had the XBOX360 since christmas and i really like it so far. It's hard to tell what's the better system right now because we can't really compare until the ps3 comes out. If i were to guess i would say the ps3 will be better if you are willing to pay the extra couple hundered dollars. The ps3 will almost certainly have better graphics because it is going to cost more money then the 360. It depends how much money you want to spend, but you wont make a bad choice on either one.

Get The XboX 360.......Yeah I Can Understand People Saying That The PlayStation 3 Is Not Even Out Yet So How Can One Do A Comparison Of Both Consoles???..Well All You Have To Do Is Look At The Performance That The Sony PlayStation 3 Has Put Out At E3 2006...And From There On It Has Been Nothing But Down Hill For The PlayStation 3...The Entire Gaming Community Has Trashed Talked The Sony PlayStation 3 Ever Since......Now This Is Not Opinion This Is Fact...Look At G4,Kotaku,IGN ......If One Was To Compare Both the XboX 360 And The PlayStation 3 Both Consoles Are Almost Identical In Power(Look At The IGN Comparison Chart On Performance)
Now If You Look At The Games The Majority Of Game Titles Coming Out On The PS3 Are Now Starting To Show Up On The 360......So Whats The Only Big Difference ???

Both systems seem to have an equal game line-up, but the 360 is $200 cheaper and is much better online. A lot of people will get the 360 just for Halo 3 too.

PS3 will be the better gaming system for a two main reasons. First, Sony Playstation has the best proprietary games. Second, the Nvidia graphics in the PS3 will blow away the second rate ATI graphics in the 360.

X-Box 360 has the better overall,but i'm a Sony guy so i like the PS3.

I would say the ps3 because the controllers are better and easier to use and it just has the best graphics and everything about it is better, except the design of the 360 might be I little bit sleeker but it is basically personal preference

ps3 they got better game play and just a better system the only thing the 360 is a better online with x box live the only down side t the ps3 is the controller and how they made it but it will have better games and graphics so i am going with the ps3

i own a 360, and i love it. the only downside that i have encountered is that i bought the premium edition so that i could play my old xbox games and when i got home i found out that not one of my old games were on the playable list. plus, the starting price for the ps3 is absolutely outrageous.
