I asked a question earlier about our terrorist camps and my question was given a thumbs down and so were the responses to the question but hmmm the one that left the thumbs down didn't comment....wonder why? it seems like you have something to say but yet....maybe deep down you know I am right. I keep wondering how all the MIA's from the vietnam war felt. My dad was there he is dead now but my eyes are WIDE OPEN....
those who do not acknowledge and learn from the past will repeat it.

it is amazing to me how SOME people just accept the government line that everyone being detained is a dangerous terrorist. What about those that were released and sent on their way without even an apology? We have way to many problems here in America to be policing the world. READ A NEWSPAPER.

You go girl!

If nothing can be learned from previous disasters like Vietnam, then shame on the ignorant humanoids of this generation.

Most of my lifetime was consumed by sad stories from Vietnam, and then I can remember what it was like before that conflict began.

We were all better off then.

Now mired with these new conflicts, it never will come to an end, or so it seems.

I didn't even know you could post a comment with a "thumbs down" as I've never given one to anyone anyway. What may seem like a stupid question to you may be what someone else needs to know or needs to understand. If I have comments to make, I answer the question.

I know people that served in the Vietnam war. This is nothing like that. They did not go to other countries and just randomly select a place to blow. Please do not compare valor to idiocy. Please do not tell me you would be willing to send those that would be willing to destroy you and your family back to the streets. If you think they are getting a bad rap fling open the prison doors and set the murderers, rapists, thieves, etc free. You may have more of a chance.

how true i missed your origional question. but i see alot of the mistakes/astrocities that are being repeated again with the war in iraq. your father must have been a strong man to go thru what he had to go thru. we are all human beings not animals that goes for the other side too.
