Sex has never felt good to me- never felt even close to having an orgasm. Supposedly it is common for women to not have orgasms from sex alone but when I talk to people about it, it seems that everyone can and does! Are they lying? Has anyone had this problem? Anyone figured it out?

Yes. My husband and I have great sex all the time. The trick to it is to find out what works for you and then find someone who cares enough about you to do those things for you. You can also do things in return.

Hmmm. How is your enjoyment level for other things? Does anything at all really excite you? Do you feel passionate about the Steelers? Knitting? Java programming? Anything?

This could give you a clue as to your capacity for sexual excitement as well. If you tend to be so even-keeled that NOTHING sets your wheels turning, it's possible that you are among the few asexuals among us.

If, on the other hand, you can talk all night about Tunisian crochet or gardening bonsai, you may want to explore masturbation or finding a sympathetic, patient lover.

You and your partner just need to relax and take the time to find out what works for you. Spend some time with some serious foreplay, without the intention of sex. You will be much more relaxed if you are not feeling nervous or self conscious, thinking you are about to have sex. Practice this as long as it takes for you to truly enjoy yourself. If you have a partner that truly cares about you, this learning process should be fun and exciting.

I'm here to tell ya, not everyone is having mind-blowing orgasms from sex alone. Not to put too fine a point on it, but some of us are, um, manual transmissions, let's say....

It takes alot of warm up for a woman - someone told me once it's like pushing a wagon up hill, you get her started and then don't let go, because she will decline back easy and you will have to build up again. - Wait for a good loving relationship and talk and be honest, try different positions ect. Do a search for Sue Johansen - talk sex with Sue.

Get him to help you out before or after he is done. Women last longer than men, usually.
You have one after you just about never had one then you will be screaming (at that's the way it was all the time in college)
