I was curious cause the womens movement in the 60's produced these fememinists who insisted this and that and how men should treat women. WHen it comes to Womens attitude to men shouldn't we be taking action against inequality? Or just accept our dfferences as being biologically inate?

I feel this is a question worth answering. The firt person to asnwer this bassically said its ok for men to be denied acess to there children because femenists have issues too, so it all balances out? I really didn't get that, seemed like a sexist thing to say. My question was related to dating. I assumed we were all for gender equality not equal gender inequiality!!

Yes!

The convention that men propose and women decline (a date, a marriage, and anything inbetween) is just that -- a convention. The idea that men should pay is a leftover from the days when they earned and women didn't.

The one difference in this area that IS biological seems to be the statistical tendency for males to select females who are, on average, 2 years younger than themselves.

What is this men's movement you speak of? Men have been dominant since day one and still are.

Some men are spearheading a back lash because of being persecuted for manly attitudes. Some are pushing a Metro-sexual man that prefers women, but is still stylish. As a movement, men certainly are not as organized as the women's movements of the past, but why should they be?

They still control most things in the world and the rate at which they are losing control of things is not a big issue.
