I cannot transfer song from itune to MP3 because itune format is MP4.?

Question

Q1 - how do I reformat MP4 to MP3, do I need software, if so, please advise.
Q2 - can Itune song transfer to MP3 to listen

yeah, I had the same problem.

the easiest way is to get all your mp4s together and burn a CD disc

then take your disc and transfer those songs to your mp3 player (for some reason they are now mp3s!). but now all the song-artist info is gone, but you can edit this

you can sometimes convert mp4s to mp3 using itunes if they are not protected
