Gasoline is definitely one of the issues along with the Iraq war. No matter what propaganda the Neocons spew about their terrorism, America isn't forgiving the the inflation gouging, and the record profits of oil companies.

If I were the least bit persuaded to vote a particular way merely based on the price of gas, that would imply that I am not too concerned about the real important issues that face this country.
A simple minded person or one with many illusions about reality would definitely fall into that category. It's really sad that many people are in that group.
I on the other hand, tend to vote in a manner that I believe would best fit the needs of the country as a whole and not just my own desires.
If that means voting in a non partisan way than so be it.
As for the prices of gas in December I will not speculate but one could probably follow the historical trends of the past and come up with a reasonably close estimate.

As everyone knows it's time to look good for November. The oil companies are a major contributor to the Republicans. They also think people are stupid and will not add two and two. The oil companies have allot to lose if Republicans lose the power to steal from the tax payers. Half a billion in bribes pays off 10 fold for the oil companies, they see the bribes as a investment in their future ability to steal from Americans.

I don't know what vores are but no the GOP ( grand old party) is not trying to buy our vores. If however you meant votes they are not trying to buy those either. Gas prices always fall after Labor Day due to decreased demand.
